    Cabbage Rolls

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup rice (not instant)
    • 1/2 pound ground beef or ground ham
    • Cabbage Leaves
    • Tomatoe Sauce
    • Bacon Strips
    • Salt


    Instructions


    1. Cook Rice in salt water.

    2. Separately brown Ground Beef or Ham and drain liquid.

    3. Mix rice and meat together and let cool.

    4. Wilt Cabbage Leaves a few at a time in boiling water. Let cool to handle.

    5. Fill Cabbage Leaf with about 1 Tablespoon rice/meat mixture and put in baking pan.

    6. Add Tomatoe Sauce

    7. Put Bacon Strips over the top of the row of Cabbage Rolls.

    8. Bake an hour or more at 350 degrees.

    9. Only cover if it looks dry.
