    Wild Rice Hotdish

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups uncooked Wild Rice
    • 6 slices Bacon cut up
    • 1 large Onion diced
    • 4 - 5 stalks Celery cut up
    • 1 tsp instant Boullion (mixed in 1 cup boiling water)
    • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
    • 1 Can Mushrooms (with liquid) Optional
    • Salt & Pepper


    Instructions


    1. Prepare Wild Rice by cooking in at least 6 cups salted water 1/2 hour
      and let set several hours or overnight, then drain

    2. Saute Bacon, Onion, & Celery. Drain off fat

    3. Add Boullion mixture to Bacon & Vegetables

    4. Then add Mushroom Soup and rinse can with a little water

    5. Add mixture to Wild Rice and put in a Buttered Casserole

    6. Bake 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes

    7. Salt and Pepper as desired

    8. 1 can of Mushrooms with liquid may be added
