    Light, lovely, luscious lemon flavor brings a bright sunny flavor to your waiting tastebuds!!!

    List of Ingredients




    *****Bread*****
    4 T. butter
    3/4 c. sugar

    2 eggs
    2 tsp. grated lemon peel

    2 c sifted all purpose flour
    2 1/2 baking powder
    1 tsp. salt

    3/4 c milk

    1/2 c chopped nuts

    ***** Glaze*****
    3 tsp lemon juice
    3 T sugar

    Recipe



    1-Cream butter and 3/4 c sugar until light and fluffy.
    2-Add eggs & lemon peel; beat well
    3-Sift flour, baking powder and salt together; add to creamed mixture alternating with milk, beating until smooth after each addition.
    4-Stir in nuts
    5-Pour into a greased loaf pan (about 8x4x2 1/2 inches); Bake at 350 50-55 minutes or until done.
    6-Cool in pan 10 minutes.
    7-Combine lemon juice and sugar; spoon over top.
    8-Remove from pan; cool.
    9-Wrap; store overnight before cutting.
