1 cup Nabisco 100% Bran
2 cups Kellogg's All-Bran
1 cup boiling water
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup raisins

Combine 100% Bran and boiling water and let cool. Cream together sugar and oil.
Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add eggs, one at a time, to creamed mixture. Beat well. Add buttermilk and moistened 100% Bran. Add dry ingredients and Kellogg's All Bran. Fold until moist. Add raisins. Store dough in refrigerator up to 6 weeks. Bake in greased tins at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Note: The raisins are optional. I do not usually add them.
