    Recipe Introduction

There's nothing like a big bowl of chili on a cold winters day.

    List of Ingredients

    2 Pounds Ground Beef
    1 Quart Water
    2 Medium Onions
    16 Ounces Tomato Sauce
    5 Whole Allspice
    1/2 Teaspoon Red Pepper
    1 Teaspoon Ground Cumin Seed
    4 Tablespoons Chili Powder
    1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
    1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
    1/2 Square Unsweetened Chocolate
    4 Cloves Garlic, Minced
    2 Tablespoons Vinegar
    1 Large Bay Leaf, Whole
    5 Whole Cloves
    2 Teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
    1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt

    Recipe

In a 4 quart saucepan, add ground beef to water; stir until beef seperates to fine texture. Boil slowly for 1/2 hour. Add all other ingredients. Stir to blend, bringing to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 3 hours. Refrigerate overnight; remove fat before reheating slowly. Yields 8 servings.
