Recipe Introduction
This is probably my husband�s (Mike) favorite cheesecake. He raved about it when he went to his dad and Judy�s house for dinner one night without me and bugged me until I got the recipe. It is very, very good!! I just recently started doing the water bath method of cooking cheesecakes and it really does make a difference in evenness of cooking and texture of the cake.
List of Ingredients
CRUST:
1 � c. Oreo cooky crumbs
� c. butter, melted
FILLING:
3 (8 oz.) pkgs. Cream cheese, softened (reduced fat works fine)
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs
2 t. vanilla
1 c. mini chocolate chips
1 T. flour
Recipe
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix the crust ingredients and press into the bottom and up the sides of a springform pan.
Beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Add milk, eggs and vanilla beating well after the addition of each ingredient. Toss � of the chips with the flour. Mix into the cream cheese mixture. Pour into the springform pan. Sprinkle on the remaining chips. Bake for one hour. Cool thoroughly and chill.
