    Recipe Introduction

Good, simple Yorkshire pud! These puff up high, crisp and golden!

    List of Ingredients

    1 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    3 eggs
3/4 t. sea salt or kosher salt
    a pinch of dry mustard
    vegetable oil

    Recipe

Whisk the dry ingredients together, make a well and add the milk. Then whisk the eggs in one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Let sit out at room temperature for at least 30 minutes or longer (Marlene says longer is better).

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.

Pour 1 t. vegetable oil in the bottom of 12 muffin or popover tins. Put the empty muffin tin in the oven to preheat for 15 - 20 minutes. Pour the batter into the muffin cups and bake for 20-25 minutes, until puffed and brown.

    Makes 12 puddings.
