Aaron Franklins Sweet BBQ Sauce
Source of Recipe
Aaron Franklin
Recipe Introduction
Mike found this recipe in an article about Franklin and his Austin TX BBQ place. There are various Aaron Franklin BBQ Sauce recipes out there, but Mike knows that I like sweet, thin sauces, so he gave this one to me. I liked it pretty well, but I dont really care for cumin outside of taco seasoning mix and the cumin is really the top note here. I would omit the cumin next time. I also found it less sweet than the recipe title suggests (I think that in Texas, anything made without jalapenos is considered sweet), so I added a tablespoon of molasses and 2 tablespoons of honey.

1/2 T. kosher salt
1/2 T. black pepper
