    1 Tablespoon All-purpose flour
    2 Cups Whole-wheat flour
    1/2 Teaspoon Baking powder
    1/2 Teaspoon Baking soda
    1/8 Teaspoon Salt
    1/3 Cup Maple syrup or agave syrup
    1/4 Cup Vanilla yogurt
    3 Tablespoons cooking oil
    Vegetable cooking spray

    Recipe

    In a large bowl, mix both flours, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Make a well
    in the center and set aside. In another bowl, mix the maple syrup, yogurt, and oil,
    mixing well. Add to the dry ingredients, stirring until moistened. Shape into a
    ball and knead for 4 to 5 minutes or until the dough becomes smooth.

    Roll the ball to 1/8-inch thick on a floured surface and then using animal shaped
    cookie cutters, cut out shapes. Place on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray
    and bake at 350 F. for 10 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Let cool on wire
    rack.
