    • 1/2 lb. small mushrooms
    • 2 oz. butter or margarine
    • 1 small clove of garlic
    • salt, pepper
    • 3 shallots
    • 2 tsp. chopped parsley
    • 8 tsp. fresh breadcrumbs
    • melted butter or oil


    Instructions


    1. Wash and stem mushrooms; chop stems finely. Melt butter in frying pay, add stems; saut� with crushed garlic for 2 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste, then parsley and chopped shallots; cook gently for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add enough breadcrumbs to mix to a light stuffing. Fill mushroom caps with this mixture. Place in shallow, well greased oven-proof dish, pour 1 tsp. melted butter or oil over each mushroom. Bake 10-15 minutes in a moderate oven.
