    Microwave Caramel Corn

    List of Ingredients

    3 Qt. popped corn
    1 1/2 cup peanuts (optional)
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup butter
    1/4 cup light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda

    Recipe

    Place popped corn and peanuts in large brown paper bag and set aside.
    In 2 Qt. glass bowl combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt.
    Microwave on high for 3-4 minutes, stirring after each minute until mixture comes to a boil.
    Microwave 2 minutes more.
    Stir in baking soda.
    Pour syrup mix over corn in bag.
    Close bad and shake well.
    Microwave 3 minutes shaking bag after each minute.
    Pour caramel corn into large roasting pan, cool and stir to separate kernals.
