    Maple-Mustard Glazed Ham

    List of Ingredients




    1 (8-10 pound fully cooked ham (shank end)
    1 T. cider vinegar
    1 1/2 t. black pepper
    1 t. paprika
    1/2 t. thyme
    1 t. minced garlic
    1/2 cup pure maple syrup
    1/4 cup Dijon Mustard

    Recipe



    1. Trim fat on Ham to 1/4 inch thickness. With a sharp knife score fat in a diamond shaped pattern, In small cup, combine vinegar, pepper, paprika, thyme and garlic; rub mixture over top and sides of ham. Place in shallow roasting pan; cover loosely with foil. Let ham stand at room temperature for two hours.
    2. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Bake 2 1/2 hours. Uncover and drizzle with half the syrup; spread top with mustard.
    Bake 1 hour, drizzling with remaining syrup, until instant read thermometer inserted in thickest part of ham reads 140 degrees. Transfer to a platter, Cover loosely with foil. Let rest 20 to 30 minutes to settle the juices. Carve and serve.
