    Baked Cranberry OR Blueberry Pudding

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups Bisquick® baking mix
    1 cup sugar
    3 tablespoons shortening -- melted, or vegetable oil
    2/3 cup milk
    1 egg
    2 cups cranberries -- whole

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix Bisquick and sugar. Stir in shortening, milk and egg until well blended. Fold in cranberries. Pour into a greased 9 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake 40 minutes or until golden. Serve warm with Butter Sauce.

    Butter Sauce: Mix butter, sugar and cream in saucepan. Heat over low heat 5 minutes, being careful not to scorch the sauce.

    NOTES : Blueberry Pudding: Make as for Cranberry Pudding except use 2 cups fresh blueberries or 12 ounces frozen blueberries which have been thawed. Serve warm with Lemon Butter Sauce. Remove Butter Sauce from heat and stir in the grated rind of 1 lemon.
