An old time family favorite. I've been fixing this recipe for close to 30 years.
List of Ingredients
1 egg -- beaten
10 3/4 ounces tomato soup, condensed
1/4 cup rice -- uncooked
2 tablespoons onion -- finely chopped
1 tablespoon parsley -- snipped
1 pound lean ground beef
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
In a bowl combine egg and 1/4 cup of the soup. Stir in rice, onion, parsley, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Add beef and mix well. Shape mixture into 20 meat balls and place in a 10-inch skillet. Mix remaining soup with Worcestershire sauce and 1/2 cup water. Pour over meatballs. Cover and simmer 35 to 40 minutes. Stir often while cooking.
Serves 4 to 5.
