TIPS FOR CLEANING AND FREEZING BLACKBERRIES
We use several buckets and only put about a quart of berries in each. I pour them out in a 9 x 13 cake pan and sort out the leaves, stems and whatever. Fill a large stainless steel pan with cold water and pour the berries in slowly, wash gently and use a skimmer to take them out and drain. When the water is thru dripping then pour gently into the 9 z 13 cake pan ( after washing it out) and use the skimmer to put the berries in the freezer bags. This is so much easier than any other way that I have done in the past and the berries stay wholeSo far we have 14 qts. of blackberries and many more to put up
