Club 116 Spaghetti Sauce

Recipe Introduction
One of our favorite spaghetti sauces.
List of Ingredients
4 lbs. lean ground beef
2 large onions, chopped
2 teaspoons rosemary, chopped fine
1/2 c. fresh parsley, chopped fine
2 tsp. salt
4 cups tomato juice
1 15 oz. can of tomato paste
6 cups water
1 tablespoon of garlic powder
Recipe
Brown meat with onion and drain well.
Add rosemary, parsley and water.
Cook over medium heat two hours, stirring often.
Add garlic and blend well.
Thicken with and flour and water mixture if desired.*
Serve over pasta and sprinkle with fresh parmesan cheese.
*For thickening I use about one half cup of flour and enough water to make it look like thick cream.
I prefer to use fresh crushed garlic when I make it. Maybe 3 cloves.
This sauce freezes well.
