    Blood Orange Roasted Chicken

    Take a 6 lb roasting chicken and rub it with a blood orange (could use regular orange) and then mix garlic powder, onion powder, lemon pepper, oregano, paprika, a bit of cayenne pepper, salt and a little brown sugar and rub the chicken with the mix. Stuff the cavity with orange and garlic.

    Bake it upright on a stand at 375 and after a half hour start to baste it. Mix a little bit of the dry rub mixture with a little oil and grapefruit juice and baste the chicken with it.
