    Rhubarb Sauce

    List of Ingredients

    About 4 cups rhubarb, washed, with the leaves and ends cut off and chopped into pieces
    Sugar (About a cup) (For diabetics, use sugar substitute)
    Water


    Recipe

    Cover the rhubarb with the water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and turn down and let simmer until it is soft and kind of mushy. Add the amount of the sugar that tastes good to you. Let cook a little longer to combine the ingredients. You can serve this hot or cold. We also used to make rhubarb cobbler, but this is still my favorite.
