    To lower saturated fats...use stick margarine instead of butter.
    Makes 4 dozen cookies

    Coconut, oats and rice cereal will make these crisp and
    tender cookies a cookie jar favorite!

    3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    2 cups LAND O LAKES� Butter, softened
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup crisp rice cereal
    cup flaked coconut
    1 cup quick-cooking oats
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

    Heat oven to 350�F. In large mixer bowl combine all ingredients except oats, rice cereal, coconut and walnuts. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed (2 to 3 minutes). By hand, stir in all remaining ingredients.

    Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets. Bake for 13 to 16 minutes or until lightly browned.
