    Apple Cottage Cheese Salad

    3 c. fat-free cottage cheese
    2 small apples, chopped
    1/4 c. raisins
    2 tsp. poppy seeds
    2 T. lemon juice
    2 T. honey
    1/2 c. salted sunflower seeds

    In a bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients. Combine lemon juice and honey; add to apple mixture. Chill. Just before serving, stir in sunflower seeds if desired.

    One 1/2 cup serving equals: 128 calories�323 mg sodium�3 mg cholesterol�19 mg carbohydrate�10 gm protein�4 gm fat ++++ Exchanges: 1-1/2 lean meat�1 fruit
