    Gingered Citrus-Avocado Salad

    Recipe Introduction

    Plan ahead�needs to refrigerate at least 1 hour. WW Points

    Serves: 6

    2 large naval oranges, peeled and sliced 1/4-in. thick
    1 medium grapefruit, peeled and sectioned
    1 can (20 oz.) unsweetened pineapple chunks, undrained
    1/2 c. fat-free sour cream
    2 T. fat-free milk
    1 T. brown sugar
    1 tsp. grated orange peel
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    1/ tsp. ground nutmeg
    6 c. torn leaf lettuce
    1 large avocado, peeled and sliced
    1/4 c. chopped pecans, toasted

    In a large bowl, combine the oranges, grapefruit and pineapple and refrigerate until serving. In another bowl, combine the next 6 ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Divide lettuce and avocado between 6 salad plates. Using a slotted spoon, arrange fruit over lettuce. Sprinkle with nuts.
