    Kahlua-Pecan Sauce -- w

    The Low Fat Way to Cook 1993
    Kahlua-Pecan Sauce -- w
    Yield: 1 cup + 2 Tablespoons

    1/4 c. sugar
    1 T. cornstarch
    2/3 c. water
    1/4 c. Kahlua - or � other coffee-flavored liqueur
    1/4 c. chopped pecans, toasted

    Combine sugar and cornstarch in a small saucepan. Gradually stir in water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 2 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in Kahlua and pecans.

    Serve warm of chilled over ice milk, nonfat frozen yogurt, angel food cake or fat-free pound cake.
