    Bob's Hungarian Cucumbers

    Recipe Introduction


    These cucumbers are one of my favorite. Bob has prefected them to an art!


    List of Ingredients


    • 6 Cucumbers, peeled and sliced paper THIN
    • Salt to Taste
    • 3 cloves garlic minced
    • 3 tbsp white vinegar
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • Hot Hungarian paprika (to taste)


    Instructions


    1. Slice the cucumbers PAPER THIN. Use a mandelion if possible...but remember PAPER THIN!
    2. Salt cucumbers slices to taste.
    3. Set aside cucumbers to stand for 30 minutes.
    4. Hand squeeze the excess liquid from the cucumbers.
    5. In a seperate bowl mix the minced garlic, vinegar and sourcream. Mix well.
    6. Add sourcream mixture to the cucumbers.
    7. Sprinkle with the hot Hungarian paprika just prior to serving.
    8. Serve chilled.


    Final Comments


    The two tricks to remember is PAPER THIN and to get as much excess liquid off the cucumbers as possible.
