    1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 egg
    tsp vanilla
    1 cup flour
    2 tsps baking powder
    1/2 cup milk

    Crumb topping
    1 cup flour
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 tsps cinnamon
    1/2 cup butter or margarine (softened)

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9 x 9 pan. Make crumb topping and set aside.

    In large bowl beat butter and sugar until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
    Combine flour with baking powder. Stir flour mixture and milk into butter mixture until just blended. Do not overmix.

    Spread batter in pan, sprinkle with crumb topping. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 8 servings

    Crumb Topping
    In medium bowl with wooden spoon, combine flour, sugar and cinnamon. Using pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
