    Bars: Cranberry Spice Bars

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
    1 (18.25- or 18.5-ounce) package spice cake mix
    1 (14-ounce) cans EAGLE BRAND� Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
    1 (16-ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
    3 medium eggs
    1/2 cup chopped pecans
    Confectioners� sugar (optional)

    Preheat oven to 350�F. In large bowl, cut butter into dry spice cake mix until crumbly. Reserve 1 1/2 cups, spread rest of mixture on bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes.

    In a medium bowl, combine EAGLE BRAND�, cranberry sauce and eggs. Stir in 1/2 cup reserved mixture. Spread over prepared crust.

    Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup of reserved mixture and pecans. Bake an additional 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Sprinkle with confectioners� sugar (optional). Cut into bars. Store leftovers tightly covered in refrigerator.
