    ( sour cream recipe & food processor method)


    3 1/2 cups flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 cup cold butter or margarine cut up
    2 eggs
    1 cup sour cream
    Filling of choice

    Place 3 1/4 cups flour in the processor using the metal blade. Add all the remaining ingredients and process until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Do not over process. Remove mixture and place on counter and knead briefly with the other 1/4 cup flour. Wrap and chill dough well. When ready to prepare, roll dough thin on a lightly floured surface. Cut and fill as desired. See above recipe instructions. Brush with an egg wash if desired before baking. Bake in a 400F oven until golden about 20 to 25 minutes.
    Note: remember your fillings should be already cooked and cooled such as mashed potatoes, cooked cabbage and onion etc.
