    Amish - Pot Roast

    List of Ingredients

    3 - 4 pound beef roast, cut your preference
    1 tablespoon oil
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    1 cup coffee
    2 bay leaves
    1 minced garlic clove
    1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
    2 sliced onions

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
    Pour the oil in a Dutch oven type pan.
    Heat oil on stovetop and sear roast on all sides.
    Mix the soy sauce, coffee, bay leaves, garlic and oregano
    together, then pour over the roast.
    Place 1/2 of the onions on top of the roast and place
    the other 1/2 into the juice.
    Cover and roast for 4 - 5 hours, to doneness of your choice.
