    List of Ingredients




    1/2 c. softened butter
    1 c. white granulated sugar
    3 eggs
    2 tbsp. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 unbaked 9" deep dish pie crust

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350.
    Cream butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs and flour, beating lightly to mix.
    STIR in buttermilk and vanilla extract.
    Do not over beat custard or it will separate.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake 40 - 50 minutes or until custard is golden brown and set.
    If top begins to brown too much before filling is set, cover lightly with foil.
    Cool pie an hour before serving.
    Best served at room temperature.
    Makes 6 servings.
