    Serve warm over pancakes, or use as a glaze for chicken or ham.

    Cranberry Syrup #3, from fresh

    1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed
    1/2 cup maple syrup
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/4 cup water
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon lemon juice

    Combine all but the lemon juice in a medium saucepan.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 8 minutes or until
    cranberries pop, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in lemon juice.
    Makes 10, 2 tablespoon sized servings.
