    List of Ingredients




    1 pounds dried navy beans
    1 pounds bacon slices -- cooked and crumbled
    32 ounces tomato juice
    8 ounces tomato sauce
    2 cups onions -- chopped
    2/3 cup packed brown sugar
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    2 teaspoon garlic granules
    1 teaspoon ground dry mustard
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

    Recipe



    Place beans in a large sauce pan; add water to cover by 2 inches.

    Bring to a boil; boil for 5 minutes.

    Remove from the heat; let stand for 1 hour.

    Drain beans and discard liquid.

    In a 5 quart crock pot/slow cooker, combine remaining ingredients.

    Add the beans.

    Cover and cook on HIGH heat setting for 2 hours.

    Reduce heat to LOW heat setting and cook for 8 to 12 hours longer or
    until beans are tender.
