Recipe Introduction
I think the secret to this fast and easy dish is the white wine. Everything tastes better with white wine in it!
List of Ingredients
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of chicken or cream of chicken soup
� cup white wine
� cup water
� cup uncooked regular white rice
Salt
Pepper
Cajun spice
3-4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
Recipe
In a sauce pan, saut� chicken in 3 Tbsps. Butter and1/3 cup white wine until chicken is browned on both sides. Season the chicken with salt, pepper. You may add minced garlic and sage, or spices of choice to the saut� mixture.
In another bowl combine the soup, water, white wine, spices (to taste) and rice. Add the drippings from the saut� chicken and stir until blended.
Place the chicken into a greased shallow baking dish. Pour rice mixture over chicken. Cover with foil, and bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
