    1/2 cup Jif Creamy Peanut Butter


    � 1/2 cup Crisco� Canola Oil


    � 1 teaspoon almond extract


    � 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


    � 1 and 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats


    � 1 cup all-purpose flour


    � 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar


    � 1/4 teaspoon salt


    � 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon


    � 1 cup chopped dried apricots

    Recipe



    Heat the oven to 350�F.


    � Combine the Jif Creamy Peanut Butter, Crisco� Canola Oil, almond extract, and the vanilla extract in a medium bowl and whisk until well blended.


    � Combine the oats, flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl, mix until well blended. Add the apricots and stir until well blended.


    � Add the peanut butter mixture and stir until the dough is crumbly and well blended.


    � Line a 9 inch square baking pan completely with aluminum foil and spray with Crisco� Cooking Spray. Place the dough in the pan evenly and press it into the pan with your fingers.


    � Bake about 30 to 35 minutes until the top is golden brown. Remove from the oven and place on a baking rack. Allow to cool completely.


    � Lift the oatmeal bars and foil out of the pan and place on a work surface. Remove the foil and cut into 1 and 1/2 inch by 3 inch bars.


    � Makes 18 bars.
