    Source of Recipe

    Source: Better Homes and Gardens

    List of Ingredients

2 cups finely crushed chocolate wafers (about 44 or one 9-ounce package)
1/3 cup butter (no substitutes), melted
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 3-ounce package cream cheese, softened
    2/3 cup sugar
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    4 eggs
2 tablespoons coffee liqueur or milk
    1/2 cup sliced almonds

    Recipe

    1. For crust, combine crushed wafers and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Press crumb mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 13x9x2-inch pan; set aside.
    2. For filling, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl with an electric mixer on medium to high speed until combined. Add eggs all at once. Beat on low speed just until combined. Stir in liqueur or milk. Pour cream cheese mixture over the crust. Sprinkle with almonds.
    3. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until center appears set. Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours. Cut into bars. Makes 32 bars.
