Saut�ed Brussels Sprouts w/ Almonds

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
4 cups Brussels sprouts
- - salt to taste
- - freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons toasted, slivered almonds
Recipe
1 Heat the olive oil in a 10" skillet over medium-high heat.
2 Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
3 Add the Brussels sprouts, salt, pepper and saut� with the olive oil and garlic mixture until the Brussels sprouts turn bright green and become tender. Remove from the skillet, sprinkle with toasted almonds and serve
