/2 kilo beef twalya
1 cup cooking oil
2 cloves garlic
3 onions, sliced
100 grams ginger
1 tablespoon, black pepper
6 laurel leaves
4 cups water
1 cup vinegar
salt
3 tablespoons cornstarch
Recipe
1. Boil mendunggo (tuwalya) until soft. Slice according to one's preference.
2. Saut� garlic, onions, ginger, and spices in cooking oil the usual way. Add pieces of mendunggo. Salt to taste.
3. After boiling for some 15 minutes, mix in cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water. Continue mixing until soup thickens.
