    List of Ingredients

    • 3 pkg. active dry yeast
    • 2 1/4 c. warm water
    • 1/3 c. sugar
    • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    • 1 c. flour
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 Tbsp. water
    • 1 Tbsp. salt
    • 5 to 6 c. flour

    Instructions

    1. In large bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar and oil; mix well. Stir in one cup flour; let stand until mixture bubbles, about 5 minutes.
    2. In a small bowl, beat eggs and tablespoon of water. Add with salt to batter; mix until smooth.
    3. Add 4 cups flour and beat until smooth. Add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
    4. Turn out onto floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Place in greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled, about 20 minutes.
    5. Punch down dough and divide in half. Shape into loaves of your choice and place in pans. Let stand until double, about 15-20 minutes.
    6. Bake at 350^ for 20-25 minutes.
