Recipe Introduction
Serves: 4
List of Ingredients
1 c. onion, sliced vertically into thin slices
1 cup green bell pepper, cut into thin 2-inch strips
1 c. sliced mushrooms
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1-pound can salt-free (or regular) tomatoes
1 8 oz. can salt-free (or regular) tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
1 bay leaf
1 t. dried oregano
1/2 t. dried rosemary, crumbled
1/8 t. pepper
1 pound chicken,cooked cut into chunksRecipe
Heat a sprayed nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onion, green pepper, mushrooms, and garlic. Cook, stirring frequently, until vegetables are tender, about 8 minutes.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, and spices. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Add chicken. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove and discard bay leaf.
Add salt to taste.
Serve over medium (yolk-free) noodles.
Serve again hint: HOllow out a submarine roll and fill it with the chicken mixture.
