    Never BOIL eggs or they will become tough and rubbery. Instead, place eggs in pot and cover with COLD water. Bring pot to a boil then remove pot from burner. Cover and let stand for 4 minutes. Run cold water over the eggs until cool enough to remove shell.

    Tips to Ponder

    When peeling eggs, whack large end with a knife and serve in an egg cup or remove complete shell and serve in a custard dish.

    Soft cooked eggs can also be spread on toast, seasoned with salt and pepper.
