    Recipe Introduction


    For a Chinese style dinner, serve with grilled chicken or pork.


    1 16 ounce bag frozen green beans
    1 bunch green onions
    3-4 large garlic cloves, minced
    1/2 tsp ground ginger (or you can use grated fresh)
    1 tsp. sugar or Splenda
    1 tbsp. soy sauce, reduced sodium
    2 tbsp. water
    1 tbsp. peanut butter
    1/8 tsp sesame oil, regular or hot

    Cook the beans in a microwave safe dish for 5 minutes, covered.
    Slice the green onion and mince the garlic. Add to a pan with a
    tiny amount of oil-- peanut or vegetable oil. Saut� until soft. In a
    small bowl mix the soy, water, sweetener and peanut butter; set
    aside. Add the green beans to the pan with the garlic and onion.
    Keep the heat on medium, and add the sauce. Stir to mix into
    the beans. Cook just long enough to heat the sauce. Add the
    sesame oil last, stirring in before serving.
