    1 lb. ground beef

    1 medium onion finely chopped

    1 garlic clove minced

    2 C. crushed tomatoes

    1 C. water

    1/2 C. rice (Uncle Bens converted)

    2 T. paprika

    salt and pepper

    8 green peppers

    1 14.5 oz. can tomato sauce

    Can of tomato soup

    Recipe



    Brown beef, onion and garlic. Add tomatoes

    and water, bring to a boil. Add rice and cook 15

    minutes. Add paprika, salt and pepper to taste.

    Cut the tops off the green peppers and clean

    out the center. Fill green peppers with filling.

    Place filled green peppers in baking dish. Mix

    tomato sauce and tomato soup together in a

    small bowl. Add 1/2 C. water. Pour tomato

    sauce mixture over peppers. Season with a

    little more salt and pepper. Bake covered at

    350 degrees F. for 45 minutes or until peppers

    are tender.

    Serves 8
