    Shrimp & Crabmeat Casserole

    1# shrimp - cooked and cut into smal pieces 1# lump crabmeat - carefully remove any shells One 4 ounce can sliced mushrooms
    1/4 cup butter
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 cup flour
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp dry mustard
    1/4 tsp cayene
    2 cups milk
    1/2 cup sherry
    2 tsp parsley
    Parmesan Cheese
    Grated white cheddar

    Melt butter, blend in flour, whisk in milk. Cook on medium heat until thick. Add garlic, salt, mustard, cayenne, parsley, sherry, and mushrooms. Stir and cook another minute. Add shrimp then gently fold in crabmeat. Put in greased casserole dish. Srpinkle with parmesan, top with grated cheese. Bake for about 20 minutes @ 300 until hot and bubbly.

    This is an elegant dish that can be served as an appetizer with crackers or as a delicious side dish for your holiday meal!
