    Whipped Cream Cake

    List of Ingredients




    Whipped Cream Cake

    3 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 cup heavy cream
    1/2 cup water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 cups cake flour
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder

    � Beat egg whites and salt until stiff.
    � Whip cream until stiff, then spoon into egg whites. Stir in water and vanilla.
    � Combine dry ingredients and lightly fold into egg/cream mixture � gently!
    � Spoon into greased and floured 9-inch tube pan.
    � Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
    � Cool in pan 15-20 minutes, then turn out on rack.

    This treat from the early days is one of those dishes with which you�d entertain the preacher and his wife when they came calling. It�s simple but it�s heavenly.
