Quick and Easy Linguine with Bacon and P

    From Kim A in GA

    List of Ingredients

Quick and Easy Linguine with Bacon and Parmesan Cheese

    3 slices Bacon
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (or to taste)
    2 eggs
2 cloves of fresh garlic, chopped fine
Linguine noodles (enough for 4 servings)

Boil noodles until al dente. Cut bacon into small pieces and fry
until crisp and golden brown. Remove from oil and place on paper
towels to blot excess oil. Pour off at least half of the bacon
drippings. (I like the flavor of olive oil in the dish and replaced
most of the bacon drippings with it, but since we have to limit this
to five ingredients...). Gently saute the garlic over a low flame in
the remaining oil, being careful not to brown or burn it. Toss
noodles in the pan with the garlic and return the bacon to the pan,
add the parmesan cheese and continue to toss over a very low flame.
Remove from heat. Beat the eggs completely and pour over the pasta
mixture. Continue to toss until everything is well combined. When
combined with the parmesan cheese, the eggs will create a creamy,
thick kind of sauce. Use pasta water to loosen if the dish becomes
    too stiff.

There are no real measurements to use with this dish. If you like the
bacon flavor, use more bacon; if you want more of a garlic flavor, use
more garlic, etc. I like to add fresh parsley to the dish (but again
    - we are limited to five ingredients)
