    Veggie Pizza


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup fresh pea pods
    • 1/2 cup thinly sliced summer squash
    • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese
    • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese
    • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
    • 1 tsp fresh snipped chives
    • 1/4 tsp basil, dried [crush]
    • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 6 inch crust [prepare as directed in recipe]
    • OR 1 six inch flour tortilla


    Instructions


    1. Prepare crust or place tortilla in baking sheet. Preheat oven 425F for tortilla bake it for 5 minutes until crisp turning once [for pizza crust follow directions]
    2. In small saucepan cook pea pods and squash in small amount of boiling water about five minutes or until crisp tender. Drain and set aside.
    3. Combine sauce, chives, basil and garlic. Spread on crust/tortilla. Sprinkle all of mozzerella and half of chedder. Arrange veggie on top of cheese. Sprinkle rest of cheese on top. Bake 425F for 10 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
