    Sugar free jello with splenda

    List of Ingredients

    1 envelope unflavored gelatin softened in 1/2 C water for 5 minutes
    1 envelope Kool Aid
    1/2 C Splenda
    1 1/2 C boiling water


    Mix all together and chill. I add a Tbs. grated low fat mozarella cheese and a little handful of pecan pieces or walnut pieces or slivered almonds per cup. When I'm ready to eat it, I top with some fat free Cool Whip. I make 4 recipes at a time. Makes 8 cups. I use the smallest glad wrap or zip lock type plastic containers (about 1 C each) with lids. I'm experimenting with it. Right now it's cloudier than sugar free jello. Maybe if you add the boiling water to the softened gelatin first, let it all melt, then add the other ingredients, it won't be cloudy.
