1 can eagle brand milk
1 c. karo syrup
� lb. (2 sticks) oleo
1 c. nuts (optional)
2 � c. brown sugar
Recipe
Boil milk, syrup and sugar slowly in a heavy pan. Boil 25 minutes; stir constantly. Cook to 238 on candy thermometer. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour in 8x8 inch buttered pan. Cool and cut.
