    2 Cups Buttermilk
3/4 Cup Wesson Oil (grandma Used Melted Lard)

    1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
    1 Teaspoons Salt
    6 Cups Flour

    --- Cinnamon Rolls ---
    2 Cups Flour
    1 Stick Butter, melted
    1 Cup Chopped Pecans
    Cinnamon to Taste
    Sugar to Taste

    Recipe

    --- Yeast Biscuit Dough ---
Mix yeast, 2 tablespoons sugar and warm water in a small bowl; set aside for at least 10 minutes in a warm place.

Combine buttermilk, sugar and oil. Mix yeast mixture with milk mixture.

Sift together dry ingredients, then mix with liquid mixture, blending well. Let stand 10 minutes or longer. At this point, you can refrigerate the mixture to use later.

Roll out like homemade biscuits (in 2 cups flour spread out on waxed paper, or a floured board). Roll individual biscuits with hands. Let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (several hours).

Put into heated baking dishes or muffin pans (preferred) which have been sprayed with Pam. Bake at approximately 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, depending on your oven.

NOTE: This keeps in refrigerator for 2 weeks.

    --- Cinnamon Rolls ---
After mixing the homemade yeast biscuit dough, spread waxed paper on countertop and dust with 2 cups flour. Pour out dough mixture and knead lightly to stiffen the dough. Make sure flour is spread beyond the dough. Roll out dough with rolling pin to " thickness.

Spread melted butter over entire surface of rolled out dough. Sift cinnamon and sugar over the entire surface, and then sprinkle the chopped pecans over all.

Roll up dough to make a log shaped roll. Cut into 1" thick slices (being careful not to flatten each roll). Place slices in greased baking dish and sprinkle with more sugar, cinnamon and pecan pieces; then spray Pam over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
