    List of Ingredients




    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. evaporated milk
    2 egg yolks
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 (6 oz.) can water chestnuts
    1/2 lb. cooked shrimp
    1/2 lb. white crabmeat
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. dry wine

    Recipe




    In a large saucepan, saute' onions and celery in butter; blend flour in well. Add milk and stir. Add egg yolks, stirring constantly. Stir in salt and pepper. Cook about 5 minutes. Blend in shrimp and crabmeat. Pour mixture into casserole dish and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 375 degrees. Serves 6.
