    1/4 cup melted butter
    2/3 cup crushed saltines
    1/2 tsp dried basil
    1/4 cup parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp dried oregano
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    4 halibut steaks or 2 lbs. filet

    Recipe



    Place butter in shallow dish. In another bowl combine cracker crumbs, cheese, salt, basil, oregano, and garlic powder. Dip halibut into butter then coat both sides with crumb mixture (if using filet, just top the flesh side with crumbs). Drizzle left over butter over fish. Place in a greased 9x13 in baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350* for 30 to 35 minutes or until fish flakes easily.
