    Rolls: Cinnamon Rolls

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 beaten egg
    • 3 cups biscuit baking mix
    • 3/4 cup milk
    • 2 tablespoons soft butter or margarine
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
    • Glaze:
    • 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
    • 2 tablespoons warm water


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 400.

    2. Use ungreased baking sheet.

    3. Mix the egg, biscuit mix and milk together until it forms a soft dough.

    4. Roll out onto a floured surface.

    5. Knead lightly, just until smooth.

    6. Roll into a 10x8" triangle.

    7. Spread with butter.

    8. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over top of butter.

    9. Tightly roll up, beginning with the wide end.

    10. Seal the ends.

    11. Place sealed side down onto baking sheet.

    12. Make slits into the top of the roll at 1" intervals.

    13. Bake for 20 minutes.

    14. For Glaze Topping, Mix the sugar and water together.

    15. Drizzle over the top of the roll while still warm.

    16. Cut into 10 to 12 slices.
